Five-State Referral Center
The Sturgis Veterinary Hospital opened its doors to the public in 1952 at the reins of Dr. J.A. Chamley and his wife, Annie. Dr. John Ismay purchased the clinic in 1971. Since that time, the hospital has added new doctors, technicians, hospital staff, expanded services, state-of-the-art instrumentation and specialized clinical facilities.
Some of our services include digital radiography, diagnostic ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, tonometry, custom reproductive work, specialty dental services and shock wave therapy. The veterinarians attend continuing education classes and network with other specialists on a regular basis.
Our mission remains as always: to provide a regional, specialized veterinary facility to meet the needs of our referring veterinarians, clients and community.
