The Equine Center

In 2004, the Equine Center evolved from the growing equine practice of Sturgis Veterinary Hospital.  It is now a specialty practice complete with surgery suite, induction room, padded recovery rooms, intensive care units, a reproduction facility and state-of-the-art instrumentation. We are staffed with specialists in their individual disciplines; surgery, internal medicine, reproduction, lameness, etc.

The mission of the Equine Center is to improve the health and welfare of the horse by using the most advanced and up-to-date technology to provide the best care available to our clients and referring veterinarians.

The vision for the Equine Center is to continue to provide the very best service to our clients and referring veterinarians through improving our equipment, skills and personnel to meet the needs of the future.
